Team Cobra have come together again to raise money to stop prostate cancer in its tracks. And they aim to do it in a high profile, in-your-face way.

During Movember (the month formerly known as November) I’ll be growin a moustache. That’s right I’m bringing the Mo back because I’m passionate about changing the state of men’s health.

Male health is a major issue, did you know:

  1. Men are far less healthy than women. The average life expectancy of males is six years less than females.
  2. Every year in Australia 2,700 men die of prostate cancer – more than the number of women who die from breast cancer.
  3. Depression affects one in six men…most don’t seek help. Untreated depression is a leading risk factor for suicide. Rates of suicide are more than double the national road toll.

Last year Team Cobra raised well over $4,000. Help us do even better this year. All the money raised by Movember will be used to change the face of men's health by creating awareness and funding research into prostate cancer and male depression.

Bros who have come on board for 2006 are myself, Michael Hauser, Danny Roach, Campbell Gome, Stuart Toplis and Gino Fulco. Join us...

Feel free to pass on to other Bros and Sistas around the world. The more Bros the better I say.

Four good reasons why you should donate

  1. You are a man who has 'wimped out', declined to grow a mo, and are watching from the sidelines as mos grow
  2. You are a chick who appreciates a manly mo

  3. You want to help beat prostate cancer, which kills 2,700 bros every year

  4. You want to check out the mo bros at the 30 November gala party.
